Membership of the Irish Guild of Embroiderers runs from September to May each year. Our AGM is held each May, when membership subscriptions should be paid for the following year.
The Guild Membership fees are €40 for Dublin members and €23 for country members (outside 01-dialling area), and €23 for full-time students.
Door fee: For Members €5, for Student Members €3, for Visitors €7
Annual Guild Membership entitles you to attend the monthly meetings (September to May), to take part in our regular workshops (for an additional fee, variable depending on the duration and tutor.) and to borrow books from the Library.
Each month the Committee arranges events, such as a speaker from the textile world to give a talk, and there may be a workshop where they share their design, inspirations and techniques. The meetings are open to the public, but non-members may only attend 2 before joining the Guild.
During the summer break, there is a coach trip to visit a place of textile interest.
Every two years the Guild holds an exhibition of work by our members, and annually takes a stand at the Knitting & Stitching Show at the RDS, Dublin.
On payment of your annual subscription, you will be given the current password to the Members' Page where you will find full details on activities which are available to members only.
You can join the Guild by filling in the form on this page and submitting it with your online payment.
